All About Birthdays

All About Birthdays

September is a busy month for babies! Did you know that September 9th is the most common birthday in the United States? Of the top 10 most common birthdays, nine of them occur in September, with all of them falling between September 9th and September 20th. Tuesday is also the most common day of the week for births. In comparison, very few babies are born on holidays. After Leap Day, Christmas Day is the least common birthday, followed by New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve, and Thanksgiving. One possible explanation is that few c-sections and inductions are scheduled on major holidays.
